This policy explains how Trident Capital Group Pty Ltd (AFSL 531934) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information. It applies to this website and to every dealing you have with us as a prospective or current investor. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Because our funds are offered only to wholesale clients, some of the information we collect is required by law — identity verification under anti-money laundering legislation, and evidence supporting your wholesale client status. Where you choose not to provide it, we may be unable to accept an application. This policy was last updated in August 2026, and any changes will be posted on this page.
Your name, email address, postal address and telephone numbers, collected when you register your interest, request an information memorandum, apply for units or contact us.
Information required to establish and administer an investment — bank account details, tax file number, entity and trust details, and the evidence we rely on to confirm your wholesale client status.
Identification documents and source-of-funds information collected to meet our obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth).
Basic technical information about your visit — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, browser and device type — used to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful.
Assessing applications, issuing and registering units, calculating and paying distributions, and providing reporting and tax statements for the life of a fund.
Notifying registered investors when a new fund opens, and providing performance and market information. You may opt out of these communications at any time.
We disclose information to our fund administrator, registry, custodian, auditor, tax advisers, legal advisers and banking partners where necessary to operate a fund. They are bound to use it only for that purpose.
Where required or authorised by law, including disclosures to ASIC, AUSTRAC and the Australian Taxation Office. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for third-party marketing.
Information is held in access-controlled systems located in Australia and protected by physical, technical and procedural safeguards. Records are retained for the period required by law, generally seven years after an investment ends.
Some service providers may store data on cloud infrastructure outside Australia. Where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by writing to admin@tridentfinancial.com.au. We will respond within 30 days and will explain our reasons if access is refused.
If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
